Do it Fair

With the world in a tailspin, fairness isn’t a given. But the power to get there is in our hands. Together, our actions can have a positive impact on real people’s lives. Fairer pay. Fairer treatment. Fairer futures. That’s Fairtrade. It’s not just a label – it’s a movement. So, whatever you do, and however you do it: Do it Fair.

Taking Action for Fairer Tea

We’re calling on the UK government to Brew it Fair. Tea is the world’s most popular drink after water — and in Britain, we consume over 100 million cups daily. Yet too little of the industry's money reaches the people who grow and pick our tea. While tea bags cost just a few pence, production costs continue to rise. Urgent action is needed to support those at the end of the supply chain to create change for their communities and the environment. Governments, businesses and civil society must work together with tea growers to raise prices, improve pay and uphold human rights.
