Fairtrade Fortnight

During Fairtrade Fortnight 2025, we asked that, whoever you are, there are many simple actions you can take to make the trade system fairer – leading to a fairer world for all who rely on it.

Fairtrade Fortnight 2025

This Fairtrade Fortnight took place Monday 22 September – Sunday 5 October 2025. Over those fourteen days we asked each of you to Do it Fair. We celebrated the difference we can all make when we choose Fairtrade and campaigned as part of a UK-wide movement, calling for a fairer system behind the things we consume every day. With the world in a tailspin, fairness isn’t a given. But the power to get there is in our hands. Together, our actions can have a positive impact on real people’s lives. Fairer pay. Fairer treatment. Fairer futures. That’s Fairtrade. It’s not just a label – it’s a movement. So, whatever you do, and however you do it: Do it Fair.

Fairtrade Fortnight 2026

Following the success of another Fortnight, we are happy to confirm that Fairtrade Fortnight 2026 will take place Monday 21st September - Sunday 4th October 2026.

As we look ahead to next year, we’re excited to build on the energy, creativity, and impact you helped generate in 2025. Stay tuned for ways to get involved, campaign resources and fresh ideas to make next year’s Fortnight our most inspiring yet.

Hear from Fairtrade producers

Fairtrade Fortnight celebrates the farmers and workers behind the products we love. Through Fairtrade, they earn fairer prices, better working conditions, and the power to shape their future.

Hear their stories below:

A message from 250 Kenyan tea farmers

Earlier this year, over 250 Kenyan tea farmers shared a powerful message with UK tea drinkers: the global tea trade is letting them down. Low wages, climate shocks, and an unfair system are making life in the sector increasingly difficult. Their open letter calls for change—and solidarity. Read it to understand their challenges and how we can stand with them for a fairer future.

What tea farmers are calling for: Protect human rights, support us on the impacts of climate change, work with us for a better future for tea growers and workers everywhere.

Taking Action for Fairer Tea

As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, we’re asking the UK government to Brew it Fair. Like all of us, the people growing and picking our tea deserve to be able to plan for their futures, and to protect themselves from the impacts of climate change. Take action by signing our petition and asking your MP to Brew it Fair.
