Request for Proposals: Business Architecture Consultancy

The Fairtrade Foundation is seeking to engage a proactive and versatile Business Architect to support our digital transformation journey on a consultancy basis.

The role will focus on scoping our business requirements for our data and systems, working across the organisation to establish this critical foundation of our change plans.

Scope of Work

The Business Architect will be responsible for:

• Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements, ensuring they are clear, complete and aligned with strategic objectives
• Facilitating stakeholder workshops and interviews to capture requirements and build alignment
• Producing high-quality business architecture artefacts, including:
•   Process maps (current and target state)
•   User stories and associated acceptance criteria

• A financial proposal outlining costs based on the activities described in this Terms of Reference (ToR), including time and resource assumptions
• An initial work plan and indicative delivery schedule

• Interviews: Week commencing 15 June 2026
• Assignment period: July – September 2026
