As a Fair Trade Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to network and build connections with like-minded people, and use your influence to widen the fair trade community by engaging with other leaders. By strengthening your own fair trade community, you will play a direct role in ensuring that farmers in the Global South can live sustainable livelihoods and build stronger communities.

The Fair Trade Ambassador Program teaches people in different schools and campuses about fair trade, and helps them lead their own advocacy projects to further spread knowledge. By becoming a Fair Trade Ambassador in your school or campus, you will have the chance to get volunteer experience in a diversity of areas that relate to sustainability such as organizing events, completing research projects, presenting to classes or in conferences, writing articles for newspapers, running a campus-wide survey, managing social media channels, and so much more.
