Yes, at any time. A Will can be updated for as long as you are able to make one, and a gift to us carries no obligation of any kind. Nothing you do today commits you to anything.

Fairtrade is a movement towards building a fairer trade system, as well as conducting specific work to meet the growing challenges or emergencies faced by farmers and workers.  As a result, we cannot restrict how your gift would be used.  Instead, your gift will enable Fairtrade to invest in new programmes and the Fairtrade movement more broadly.  We promise in every case to use your gift carefully and cost-effectively – so that the impact of your care and compassion continues far into the future.

The Fairtrade global system is largely funded by licence fees, which enable the functioning of the Fairtrade Foundation, the promotion of Fairtrade to consumers and businesses, and vital in-depth global collaboration with Producer Networks in Latin America, Africa and Asia. These work closely with Fairtrade producers to support compliance, strengthen cooperatives, advise on in-country regulation and markets, and ensure a direct link to speak with the people who grow the products in our supply chains. As a charity, we also rely on additional investment and donations to deliver our international programmes, our advocacy to consumers, government and industry, including the work our grassroots campaigner network in UK schools, universities, faith groups and towns.
