This report highlights the work of the 12 Fairtrade cocoa cooperatives in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana that have been awarded programme funding to implement projects of their own design that prevent or remediate child labour and forced labour in their communities, now reaching around 5,000 children.

In addition to the full list of projects, four completed projects are spotlighted, including school classroom renovation or building, addition of a school canteen, bicycle transportation for children living far from school, and purchase of furniture and materials. This year, the third round of funding also included water, sanitation and hygiene projects, supported by the International Cocoa Initative (ICI).
