This report includes 2024 monitoring data for the Africa and Middle East region, as well as results of the 2025 producer satisfaction survey. Producer organisations in the region make up 38% of all Fairtrade certified organisations worldwide. By the end of 2024, there were 687 Fairtrade producer organisations in 29 countries throughout the region. Close to 1.3 million farmers and workers in the region make up about 69% of the global total in the Fairtrade system. Producers in the region earned €90.2 million in Fairtrade Premium in 2024 to spend on projects of their choice.
