Increase in Fairtrade Minimum Coffee Price - Fairtrade today announced an increase in the safety net minimum price for Fairtrade coffee from US$1.80, to US$2.00 per Lb of green coffee. This floor price is not currently in play as coffee prices have been significantly higher than this in recent times – but it is an important safety net if there is a price collapse in future.
