Terms of References for the Evaluation of Fairtrade Belgium’s 2022-2026 DGD program
The current DGD program (2022-2026) aligns with Fairtrade Belgium’s vision and has one specific objective which is: “Encouraged by citizens, civil society, and policymakers, Belgian companies are increasingly taking action in favor of fair trade, as well as social and environmental justice, within their value chains, and are integrating these as the new standard”.
The objective of the evaluation is to have an overall evaluation of Fairtrade Belgium’s DGD program and how the activities that were developed add to the results and the outcome as outlined in the above. The evaluation is expected to formulate recommendations on how to develop successful interventions/activities for the future program 2027-2031.
Fairtrade Belgium expects the evaluation to analyze:
- If, according to the logframe that was prepared for the intervention, the organization contributed to the attainment of the outcome of its program.
- In regards of the objective, which of the activities have been more successful compared to others and which of the collaborations with various NGA’s were the most successful.
- In addition, the evaluation is expected to evaluate the integration of gender and environment in the activities of the organization, as these elements are transversal in the approach of Fairtrade Belgium.
