Scam alert: Fraudulent websites and emails implying association with Fairtrade International

At Fairtrade International we have been made aware of fake websites and email communications pretending to be issued by us or in association with our organisation. The owners of these domains utilize the Fairtrade International name and use the FAIRTRADE Brand Mark and corporate identity without our consent, giving the misleading impression of official Fairtrade International communication. At times these fraudulent communication pieces may even seek to obtain money from the recipients of such correspondence.

These fraudulent websites usually have domains with the Fairtrade word within the url. Please note the only two official websites of Fairtrade International are https://www.fairtrade.net/ and https://info.fairtrade.net/. In the latter site you will also find a list of the official local sites.

Fairtrade International wishes to warn the public at large about these fraudulent activities being perpetrated purportedly in our name. We urge you to be wary of unsolicited emails, phone calls and texts that offer you very advantageous investment returns, or ask for personal or financial information.

If you suspect or are aware of such cases, please report them immediately using our website's contact form. Your information will be treated as confidential.

Rest assured that we are currently doing everything in our power to stop these fraudulent activities and infringement of our trademark rights.
