We’re thrilled to announce the 2nd edition of the National Fairtrade in India Conference and Recognition Event—Sustainability, Markets, and Impact—on 9–10 September 2025 in Bengaluru.

This landmark event is being co-hosted by Fairtrade India Project (Centre for Social Markets) and the Fairtrade Network of Asia and Pacific Producers (FT-NAPP), with co-funding support from the EU SWITCH-Asia Programme and EC FFPA. It will bring together over 150 stakeholders from across the Fairtrade ecosystem, including producers, businesses, policymakers, and development partners.

Apply Now: Fairtrade Recognition Awards 2025

Fairtrade NAPP and Fairtrade India invite all eligible Fairtrade Producer Organisations in India to apply for the Recognition Awards, a key highlight of the conference. These awards celebrate excellence, innovation, and leadership in advancing the Fairtrade movement across India.

Award Categories:

1. Climate Action & Sustainable Environment Award
Honours impactful projects that promote climate resilience, good agricultural practices, afforestation, and the use of eco-friendly technologies. This award seeks to highlight scalable, climate-smart solutions with measurable environmental and community benefits.

2. Sustainable Communities: Gender & Youth Empowerment Award
Recognizes producer organisations empowering women and youth through leadership roles, capacity-building, and Fairtrade Premium projects. It celebrates inclusive practices that drive gender equity, youth participation, and long-term social change.

3. Fairtrade Producer of the Year (6 Winners)
Awards producer organisations (SPO, CP, HLP) showing exceptional governance, efficient Fairtrade Premium use, commitment to sustainability, and innovation. Special attention is given to efforts that empower communities, diversify income, and go beyond Fairtrade Standards.
