Fairtrade exists to empower farmers and workers. Learn more about the impact we can all have by choosing Fairtrade.

Our impact

Fairtrade’s vision is a world in which all producers can enjoy secure and sustainable livelihoods, fulfil their potential and decide on their future.

To put this into practice, we place the needs of farmers and workers at the heart of our model, supporting a collaborative, equitable and transparent approach to trade.

How do we know if Fairtrade is having an impact? Put simply, we ask questions and find the answers – conducting and commissioning research, gathering data through audits and consultations, and publishing the results to enable further learning, critique and improvement.

In this section, you'll find key data and analysis, studies and research about Fairtrade, and more.
