Who we are

Fairtrade Africa (FTA) is the umbrella network organization representing Fairtrade certified Producer organizations in Africa and the Middle East.

We have four (4) regional networks: Eastern & Central Africa, Southern Africa, West Africa and the Middle East and North Africa.

Established in 2005, FTA is a member of Fairtrade International and currently represents 1,445,265 farmers and workers in 697 producer organizations spread across 29 countries in Africa and the Middle East by providing services that contribute to improving their livelihoods.

Fairtrade Africa changes the way trade works through better prices, decent working conditions and a fairer deal for smallholder farmers and workers.
