Celebrating 25 years of Fairtrade International

The world looked very different in 1998, when Fairtrade International was created. And yet, our drive for fairness remains a constant.

As a leader in the global movement to make trade fair, we keep supporting - and challenging - businesses and governments, plus connecting farmers and workers with the people who buy their products.

25 years later, and leading to World Fair Trade Day, we invite you to take a little nostalgia-trip with us to look back at some fun facts across the past years. From the first standard to the first time, we had a webpage up!

Laurence Tanty (NFO representative)
