For Consumers and Supporters

Fair Trade organizations and members of the grassroots Fair Trade movement, including Fair Trade Towns and Universities, faith groups and NGOs, have been integral to the growth of Fair Trade for trade justice for farmers and workers around the world and to the rise of Fairtrade certification in the US. We strongly believe that by working together we are stronger than we are alone.

We have been listening closely to partners across the wider Fair Trade movement to ensure that the US Fair Trade movement’s voice is heard even more strongly within the international Fairtrade system. We want to ensure that the insights and concerns of the Fair Trade movement in North America will be taking into account in whatever we do.

Civil society actors and other groups have been key contacts as we work to determine the next steps in the USA.
